Join the conversation with the United Nations 75th Anniversary by being part of the change. You can get involved by filling out a 1 minute survey about what you’d like to improve globally within the upcoming years.
Have your say on the important debate around the shape and form of the future economy. In this time of great disruption, effective cooperation across borders, sectors, and generations is necessary and anyone can get involved.
Who can get involved?
Anyone from civil society to business, local government to religious groups, arts to sports.
Particularly, youth are encouraged to engage and those whose voices are often not heard in global discussions, such as indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, migrants and displaced people. You can get involved as an individual, organisation or government establishment.

What is it exactly?

The UN75 initiative itself is about the future, and how we can shape it, together. It is about dialogue – about the UN listening and learning, responding and engaging with as many different people and constituencies as possible.
Ways you can participate

UN75 dialogues can – and should – be adapted to whatever format and setting works for you and the individuals or groups you plan to engage.
They can be:
- Standalone events, or integrated into other meetings or conferences
- Formal structured events with moderators, or informal, free-flowing discussions
- Large discussions involving many participants across the world, or small local meetings with a handful of participants
- Public meetings that are live-streamed, or private talks with invited participants
What happens with the survey findings?
Survey results and dialogue feedback, including the ideas and solutions generated, will be disseminated on an ongoing basis – online and through partners. They will also be presented to world leaders and senior UN officials at meetings and events. The most high-profile of these will be a high-level meeting of Heads of State and Government in New York on 21 September 2020 dedicated to the 75th anniversary.

Throughout the initiative, UN75 will publicise actions that can be taken by individuals and groups to support the future we want. We also hope that those who participate in UN75 will continue to engage with the United Nations beyond 2020, and that the partnerships built will become sustainable, helping to take forward collective action. So get your photo ready! You’re one step closer to being part of #TheWorldWeWant.
